Artist's statement: As an artist, I often feel the need to explore all areas of art allowing me to be well-rounded in my desire to acquire a better understanding of art beyond functional purposes to an abstract expression of culture, politics and identity. Exploring and immersing myself into new cultures and environments has undoubtedly impacted my artist outlook.
