Mixed Media Summer Camp Early Registration Open

 The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas (NAGB) is pleased to announce the return of its annual summer camp, the Mixed Media Art Summer Camp. This year, kids ages 7to 15 are welcomed to the NAGB, where they’ll spend their time learning visual art techniques, exploring different avenues of creativity and developing their knowledge of art. The camp will be divided into two sessions: Session 1, from June 27to July 15 , 2016 , and Session 2, from July 25to August 12 , 2016. mAt the end of each session, campers will display their artwork in a final showcase at The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas!

APPLICATION PROCESS (please read carefully)

Summer Camp enrollment is on a first come, first served basis.  Those who prefer to apply online can find a link to the printable application form for the Mixed Media Art Summer Camp at www.nagb.org.bs. To apply for the full three weeks of either session, please submit the program application ANDthe $480.00tuition fee (inclusive of VAT). There is a discounted rate of $405.00 (inclusive of VAT) for those who sign up and pay before April 29, 2016.

LIMITED financial aid is available based on need. The NAGB endeavours to make its Mixed Media Camp accessible to all, without turning any camper away due to financial hardship. Please contact Abby Smith at 3285800/1 or asmith@nagb.org.bs for more information.

WHEN TO SHOW UP AND WHAT TO BRING

Camp will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday. The Mixed Media Art Summer Camp will provide all the necessary materials, equipment and instructors, as well as a snack in the afternoons. Each camper will be provided with two T-shirts. Additional shirts will be available for purchase. Campers should bring a packed lunch every day, wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. A water bottle is highly recommended.

 COMPLETING YOUR APPLICATION

Completed applications should include:

❒  Tuition payment in cash, cheque or credit card (Visa or MasterCard ONLY).
