SUMMARY:Creative Calm: Mindfulness Meets Art
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Mindfulness + Art Workshop led by Ricquel Rose.  In this workshop\, you’ll explore your inner being and awareness\, helping you to pause\, observe\, and respond mindfully. Starting with an icebreaker\, you’ll then learn the benefits of mindfulness and practice a few techniques before creating an artwork that centers on your relaxation.  Ricquel Rose is a self-taught artist with Bahamian heritage. She has been teaching art since 2017 and holds degrees in Psychology\, and Trauma Counseling and Art Therapy. She brings a unique\, therapeutic approach to art\, helping others discover its healing properties. Open to art enthusiasts\, hobbyists\, and creatives aged 12+.
