It is a pleasure to\, again\, invite you to experience the virtual exhibition “From Time: Water Has A Perfect Memory”. Originally curated  with our Family Island audience in mind\, it is now made available to you\, no matter your location. This is the final virtual appearance of this exhibition for the general public. This exhibition\, “From Time: Water Has A Perfect Memory”\, functions in some ways as a time capsule. It uses historical knowledge and the visual interpretations to engage with the country’s past and present while envisioning a more hopeful future. \nThe exhibition “From Time” opens virtually on Monday\, November 22nd\, 2021\, at 12:00 p.m. The curators have dissected our national identity as it exists now and as it has evolved through time. “From Time” draws on works from the National Collection to prompt our thoughts on pressing issues of sustainability\, environment\, evolution and future-building in our beloved Bahamian and Caribbean space. We are challenged to begin to consider the meaning of history and archives on our own terms and to dare to imagine an abundant and inclusive afro-future. You are invited to engage with the interactive virtual exhibition through our website. “From Time” will remain open through January 23rd\, 2022.
