Guided by artist Tanicia Pratt\, participants will use their mobile phones (or any device of their choosing) to write a poem or script and craft a short film—proving that art can be made with the tools we carry every day. Using her own iPhone 6s to create her film Blow the Whistle\, Pratt highlights the value of resourcefulness and the importance of creating art as a means of survival. No prior experience is required\, but participants should have a working knowledge of CapCut\, Canva\, or other video editing software. Please ensure your device has sufficient storage and access to editing apps.  About the InstructorTanicia Pratt is an interdisciplinary poet\, writer and performing artist. She began her career in Nassau’s underground poetry scene\, dedicating years to spoken word performance before relocating to London to study experimental poetics.   Writing through the body\, Pratt views her practice as a spiritual act that creates space for divine connection\, introspection\, transformation\, and ancestral reverence. Pratt’s work is heart-centred\, seeking to understand Love and lack thereof – its manifestations\, variations\, and its lasting impact on society and the environment. Her latest collection\, BLUE has been collected by The National Poetry Library of England. Thus far\, her writings and performances have been featured in many international outlets including Write About Now\, Ormsby Hall Kingston\, Marché de la Poesie\, HKW (Middle Ground) Berlin\, Bad Form\, Soeurs\, POUI\, and more.    Questions?Contact our education team at education@nagb.org.bs. ↗ \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Related \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Project \n \n \n \n Blow the Whistle
