DESCRIPTION:Join us for this unique opportunity to learn an invaluable skill that’s an integral part of our culture and heritage. Veteran Long Island educator and straw artisan Rosemary Brice will lead participants through the basic techniques and foundations of plaiting with straw.  This workshop is perfect for beginners and is a great way to extend your learning after experiencing our upcoming exhibition\, “It comes from the head”: A Straw Heritage.  All materials are included.
