BaSHRA Presents Relationships Master Classes around Black Love

On Tuesday, September 25th 2018, 5:30pm – 7:00pm, at the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas (NAGB), BaSHRA will be hosting the first of four Relationship Master Classes focused around the subject of “Black Love”. The theme of this session is “Trust issues, the silent relationship killer”.  There will be 30 minutes of speaker-directed interactive activity and 30 minutes for moderated open floor discussion including the following:




a.        Definition of trust, in a relationship context

b.        Common signs of trust issues in a relationship

c.        Source of trust issues in a relationship

d.        Common psychological disorders that relate to trust issues that may require professional help

e.        How to resolve trust issues in a relationship

f.         Interactive group activity/discussion

                                Panelist:  Marissa S. Nelson, a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), certified sex therapist (CST), and  relationship expert.
