Darchell Henderson graduated from the College of The Bahamas with an associate degree in art. She developed her skills locally under seasoned practitioners like Antonius Roberts and Sue Bennett-Williams and furthered them at the Savannah College of Art and Design Summer Art Workshop. She was recognized as the first place winner at the 2007 FINCO Summer Arts Workshop. She has experience in art education as an assistant and substitute teacher at Lyford Cay International School. In her practice, Darchell draws on her Bahamian and Jamaican heritage as well as her local surroundings. She now works as the Communications Officer with responsibility for membership at the NAGB.
