Romel Shearer is an arts administrator, organizer, and cellist based in Nassau, Bahamas. In addition to serving as Education Assistant, he also works at The Sanctuary at Albany music recording studio and teaches and performs locally. When not engaging in his musical practice, Romel enjoys engaging in collaborative projects at the intersection of the arts, public policy, social justice, and technology. A native Bahamian, Romel Shearer was raised in Nassau and the United States and pursued his undergraduate studies in Music at Texas Christian University.
