This summer’s theme was “Parading through the Caribbean” and allowed campers to explore indigenous festivals throughout the region. Festival experiences included Kadooment from Barbados, Ole Mas from Trinidad & Tobago, Rara from Haiti and Diwali from Guyana. Eighty-seven campers, 20 camp counsellors and four instructors joined the NAGB family for four fun-filled, creative weeks that gave them the opportunity to experiment with art materials and techniques, meet new people and explore the connections between The Bahamas and countries in the region.

The MMASC Exhibition and Awards Ceremony will be held at the NAGB on Thursday, August 1st, 2019, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. The exhibition will be on display until August 25th, 2019.
