On this week’s Blank Canvas, host Amard Rolle is joined by Nyasha Warren, Vice President of the Museums Association of the Caribbean (MAC), and Dr Douglas Barkey, Dean of Liberal and Fine Arts at the University of The Bahamas, to discuss the upcoming MAC Conference, taking place in Nassau from 1–5 March 2023.
The conference theme, Power of Museums: Relevancy, Advocacy, Transformation, invites presenters to reflect on the role and impact of museums within their communities. Hosted by NAGB in partnership with the Central Bank of The Bahamas, the University of The Bahamas, and Antiquities, Monuments and Museums Corporation, this Caribbean-wide forum fosters exchange among museums and cultural institutions across the region and beyond.
