Governance

The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas was established in 2003 by an Act of Parliament as a non-profit, quasi-governmental private corporation. It operates as an independent corporate entity governed by a board of directors. Seven of the twelve board positions are ex officio, held either by individuals occupying specific public offices or their designated appointees.
