Welcome to the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas. We look forward to your visit!

The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas is housed in the historic Villa Doyle, dating back to the 1860s. We celebrate Bahamian art through contemporary exhibitions, public programmes, and community collaborations. Connect with art in the galleries, discover unique items in the museum store, or experience the art around you in our Art Park. Everyone is welcome here. 

Hours

The museum is open six days a week, and closed on Mondays and all public holidays in The Bahamas. The last entry is at 4:30 pm. 

Location

The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas is located in Downtown Nassau, within walking distance of the city centre. We’re near Graycliff and directly opposite St. Francis Xavier Cathedral.

There are two entrances:

Pedestrians: West Hill Street, Nassau, The Bahamas

Cars: West Street, Nassau, The Bahamas

Check in with security and let them know you’re here for a visit.

Admission

Free Sundays
Bahamians and resients enjoy free admission every Sunday.

University of The Bahamas Students
University of The Bahamas students enjoy free admission to the NAGB every day with a valid student ID.

What to Expect

Free on-site parking is available, including an EV charging station. Enter through the car entrance on West Street. Simply check in with security—no special permission is needed to visit the museum.

Restrooms are located on the first floor for your convenience.

Shop artisanal items, exhibition catalogues, souvenirs, and more. The store is open during museum hours.

Reservations are not required. Payments are accepted on-site only. An online ticketing system is coming soon.

Discover outdoor sculptures, architectural features, and murals throughout the museum grounds. These spaces are free to explore.

Enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the museum to access digital exhibition content.

Exhibition text translations are available in multiple languages via QR codes in the galleries.
