The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas is the country’s leading art museum, housed in the historic Villa Doyle, a landmark dating to the 1860s. Once a private residence, it was transformed into galleries that now celebrate Bahamian art through exhibitions, public programmes, and community collaborations. Explore the galleries, encounter art outdoors in our Art Park, and discover unique pieces in the Museum Store. Plan your visit today.
The museum is open six days a week, and closed on Mondays and all public holidays in The Bahamas. The last entry is at 4:30 pm.
New Sunday hours: 10 am–5 pm! Enjoy more time to explore with our Free Sundays programme for residents of The Bahamas.
