On this week’s Blank Canvas, guest host Katrina Cartwright, NAGB Education and Outreach Manager is joined by the founder of the newly formed Exuma Arts Network, Sann Sann Lam.
The mission of the Exuma Arts Network (EAN) is to offer the out island community a resource for the arts and culture of The Bahamas by supporting local artists and art enthusiasts. Through arts education and arts initiatives, they present options for lifelong practices, opportunities for skills and professional development, and channels in which to reflect on Bahamian history and experience. Lam speaks to EAN’s aspirations and upcoming projects, including the newly signed MOU with the NAGB, which will see the museum’s educational programming offered to the Exuma community throughout the year.
