On NAGB’s “Blank Canvas” your hosts Dr Douglas Barkey, Executive Director, and Diana Sands, Communications & Development Manager, of the NAGB, interview the incomparable and gracious Dawn Davies.
Mrs Davies, who recently donated copies of her newest book “Love & Responsibility – Volume 2” to the museum, talks about her initial entry into art collecting and how her interests have evolved through the years. This book features 750 pieces of art while celebrating Bahamian culture and talent. It should also be noted that her collection now contains more than 2,500 works that date from the nineteenth century to now and has become one of the largest private art collections in the Caribbean.
