Tonight’s Blank Canvas is all about the upcoming exhibition NE:TEN “Mercy”! Guest host Katrina Cartwright, NAGB Education and Outreach Manager, is joined in the studio by “Mercy” artists Sonia Farmer and Yasmin Glinton Poitier and curator John Cox, as they delve into this complex and thought-provoking theme and share tidbits on the show which opens October 6th, 2022.
NE:TEN is another nationwide opportunity for collaboration with a diverse community of Bahamian artists, creatives and storytellers to reflect on the shared theme of mercy, evoking personal and collective historical experience. It serves as a litmus test of what “is” and “could be” in the context of the many signs, features, currents and hallmarks of the times in which we are living and through which we are moving.
