Tyrone Ferguson (b. 1955, Nassau, Bahamas) has professional training in structural welding, metal fabrication, alongside a broad spectrum of metalsmithing. As an artist, he is known for an imaginative approach to functional items such as doors, gates, furniture, railing panels, lighting fixtures, while forging out his own style of sculptural work in iron, bronze, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and repurposed materials. Ferguson’s work can be found in the collection of the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas, in numerous private collections and public spaces in The Bahamas, Europe, Canada, and the United States.
