About the Project
A poetic video installation that screams like an alarm, Blow the Whistle takes a sharp, sardonic look at a widely criticised “solution” to gender-based violence: handing victims a whistle.
Tanicia Pratt is an interdisciplinary poet, writer, and performer with roots in Nassau’s underground spoken word scene. In this project, she crafts an experimental work designed to haunt, provoke, and demand justice for women and children.
