NE12 Grant Application

The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas invites proposals for the 12th National Exhibition, Ringplay. NE12 grants are available to individual artists and collaborative projects for new and dynamic work across painting, sculpture, installation, photography, video, music, theatre, poetry, and other creative disciplines.

Grants provide up to $5,000 per project to support materials and related costs, including production, fabrication, transport, and completion. Awards will be distributed equitably based on need.


Eligibility

Applicants must apply to both the 12th National Exhibition Open Call and the Grant Open Call to be considered. Bahamian artists and residents are encouraged to apply. Applications without a corresponding exhibition submission will not be reviewed. The committee seeks to support projects that are innovative, experimental, and rigorous.


Application process

Round 1 – Proposal submission

The deadline is 8 June 2026. Proposals must include a brief project overview, a budget, and a timeline. Please submit via the form below.

Round 2 – Panel review

The panel will comprise NAGB’s Deputy Director & CFO, Marysa Malone, and members of the curatorial team. Proposals will be evaluated based on artistic merit, originality, feasibility, alignment with the exhibition theme, and the applicant’s ability to realise the work within the proposed timeline and budget.

Round 3 – Acceptance notification

Applicants will be notified of acceptance on 1 July 2026.
