Make the most of your visit to the museum with a special guided tour. Guided tours are perfect for groups of 10 or more, including school, civic, and recreational groups. Tours are 50 minutes and are offered Tuesday to Friday, unless otherwise arranged. Each tour can accommodate up to 25 people, with a recommended cap of 15 for groups of young children. Bring your group to the museum!
K–12 schools, universities, and other educational organisations
Bring your classroom to the museum! School tours are a great way to extend learning through art. Tours cover a wide range of topics and can be tailored to suit your students’ age, interests, and curriculum needs.
Pricing is based on group size and includes tour guides and chaperones.
Tier 1: $125
For 10–20 students and 1 chaperone
(Includes 1 tour guide)
Tier 2: $190
For 21–30 students and 2 chaperones
(Includes 2 tour guides)
Tier 3: $250
For 31–40 students and 3 chaperones
(Includes 3 tour guides)
Note:
Groups with children under 12 require 1 chaperone for every 5 children—this is included in the pricing above. Additional chaperones must pay regular museum admission.
As part of our commitment to accessibility and equity in education, the NAGB offers free guided tours to all public schools. Regular tour pricing applies to private schools, international schools, and all other educational institutions.
Private, community, and recreational groups, and corporate teams
Guided tours are a great way to deepen your experience of the museum. Our knowledgeable and engaging team will lead you through our four galleries, highlighting works that span from traditional to contemporary and represent a range of visual art forms.

Whether you’re visiting solo or with a group, the galleries are set up for discovery. Wall texts and links to audio and reading materials allow for a self-paced, personalised experience.
Just coming with friends or family? No need to book—simply stop by and enjoy. If you’re leading a group of 10 or more and want something more structured, you’re welcome to organise your own self-guided tour using our resources. Just let us know at least two weeks in advance so we can help you make the most of your visit.
Visitors on self-guided tours pay the general museum admission fee.
