Mixed Media Art Summer Camp Registration

July 4, 2022, 9:00 am - July 29, 2022, 3:00 pm

This year we are happy to welcome children ages 5-17 for an in-person camp under the theme “Ol’ Story: Folktales & Traditions”. Campers will learn and practice a wide range of visual art techniques, from printmaking to digital art, as they explore language, traditions and folktales in the context of Bahamian oral history. Participants will take inspiration from outstanding artists included in the National Collection. Featured artists include Amos Ferguson, Dionne Benjamin Smith, Allan Wallace and many more.

The Mixed Media Art Summer Camp is an experience designed for fun, learning and discovery. Campers can explore new avenues of creativity at an art camp infused with traditional experiences. Participants will also work on a mural and have their art featured in the official student exhibition.

The camp will run with two sessions between July 4th – 29th. We can’t wait to create and explore creative practices with the young creatives!

Camp hours:
9:00am – 3:oopm
