Paint Like Amos 2

February 17, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

The exhibition The Nation/The Imaginary explores the juxtaposition of myth and reality. It allows the viewer to reflect on the idea of identity and how Bahamians define themselves.

From picturesque landscapes to storytelling, intuitive Bahamian artist Amos Ferguson explored many themes in his work. You are invited to experience the magic of Amos Ferguson and create your own narrative in our workshop “Paint Like Amos.” NAGB Education Officer Nowé Harris-Smith will lead participants to create a painting inspired by Ferguson’s work using cardboard, nails, and other materials.

All art enthusiasts, hobbyists, and creatives are invited to participate in this community event. Registered participants must be 12 years and older. Space is limited. Sign up at the link below, and for more information, contact [email protected]
