Perched on a ridge overlooking historic Nassau to the south and the harbour to the north, the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas offers a truly one-of-a-kind setting for your next special event. Housed in the beautifully restored Villa Doyle, the museum provides an unforgettable venue for intimate weddings, private dinners, performances, corporate gatherings, and celebrations of all kinds.

Event spaces

Entire museum · $4,000; Up to 350 people
For a truly unforgettable experience, host your event throughout the entire museum. With art-filled galleries, wrap-around verandahs, and a sprawling lawn, it offers a completely exclusive setting.

Fiona’s Theatre  · $1,000; Up to 250 people
Open-air amphitheatre with tiered seating and a front-stage. Overlooks Nassau with partial views of the harbour.

Front lawn · $2,000; Up to 350 people
Lush, large open lawn, perfect to be transformed into an oasis for your event.

Upstairs verandah · $1,250; Up to 150 people
Wrap-around verandahs with high views of the city and a truly special feel.

Downstairs verandah · $1,000; Up to 75 people
More casual, yet still beautiful, with murals and architecture to take in.

More to consider
If you rent more than one space, you’ll receive a $500 discount off your total rental fee. We understand that some events may require a more tailored approach—we’re happy to work with you to make it happen. Get in touch and let’s make your event a reality, whether humble or extra-special.

Catering

Caterers may only bring and set up pre-prepared food. Live kitchen service is only allowed by caterers on our pre-approved list including Chef Hans Moncur, Events by Alexandra, Cacique International, and Wildflowers Events & Occasions.

If you’re interested in becoming a pre-approved caterer, contact us to complete the required training form. Training takes place every September.

Policies

To ensure a seamless event experience, please review our rental policies. These guidelines help protect our collections, respect the museum’s mission, and create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

  • All rental applications must be submitted at least four (4) weeks before your proposed event date.
  • A date is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from our rentals team.
  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
  • All rentals must be fully paid one week before your event.
  • Events must end by 11:30 pm and comply with reasonable noise requirements.
  • The NAGB reserves the right to decline any request or adjust confirmed dates if museum programming needs take precedence and full payment has not been made.
  • All event materials (tents, chairs, etc.) must be removed from the property by 10 am the day after the event. If not, a $250 (+VAT) charge will apply.

Prohibited uses

The NAGB is not available for private art exhibitions or events that conflict with our mission. If you’re unsure whether your event is eligible, please reach out—we’re happy to help.

Additional information

Security

Rental prices include security and custodian services. Additional staff: $80 per service (+VAT).

Parking

We offer free on-site parking for approximately 20 cars. No additional parking services are available.

Please note, the NAGB does not provide the following:

  • Event coordination
  • Catering or bar services (including dinnerware and cutlery)
  • AV equipment or rentals
  • Tent and other furniture rentals
  • Additional parking
  • Tour guides
