On this Wednesday’s Blank Canvas, NAGB Executive Director, Amanda Coulson, speaks with representatives from the Fusion Superplex, opening soon in November. What is Fusion Superplex? It’s that monument on the corner of on Gladstone Road and JFK but also according to our guests, it’s much more.
Dominic Richards, the Chief Operating Officer, and Selina Archer, the Chief Marketing Officer of Fusion Superplex share the initial vision that brought this entertainment complex to reality. Beyond movies (IMAX and 4DX) the structure houses various dining options, indoor and outdoor—Starbucks and Sub-Zero ice cream– and a jungle gym and gaming rooms for adults and youngsters.
The site is more than an entertainment centre, however, and is envisaged by the founders—Richards, along with partners Demarco Gibson (Chief of Security, Maintenance & Facilities), Carlos Foulkes (Chief Executive Officer) and Tecoyo Bridgewater, (Director/Legal Counsel)— as a place for the community to come together, crossing the invisible divides that separate us to create a safe space for engagement and exchange.
