On tonight’s Blank Canvas, guest host Katrina Cartwright, NAGB Education and Outreach Manager, is joined by artist Jevon Thompson and NAGB team members Romel Shearer (Project Assistant) and Zearier Munroe (Community Outreach Officer). They discuss their experiences at the museum and their participation in the NAGB’s mural programme.
Romel begins the conversation as he shares his career aspirations and gives insight into his 12-week-long arts administration-focused internship at the NAGB. Zearier and Jevon join the conversation in the last two segments where they discuss the newly completed mural at the Ranfurly Home, upcoming murals in North Eleuthera and at Archives in Nassau, and the import role of public art in community building.
