On this week’s Blank Canvas, your host Amard “Maddie” Rolle, is joined by The Baha Mar Current Art and Gallery Center’s Art Director, John Cox, Curatorial Manager, Averia Wright, and Artist in Residence, Steven Schmid. Schmid debuts new works in “Showing Teeth”, a solo exhibition opening on Saturday, October 21, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
Cox and Wright discuss the inaugural FUZE Art Expo, a part of Baha Mar’s Culinary and Arts Festival, taking place from October 27 – 29, 2023. NAGB’s Associate Curator, Letitia Pratt, co-curator of “The Nation/The Imaginary”, also joins to discuss the exhibition that opens this Thursday, October 19, at 6:30 pm-9:00 pm.
