On this week’s “Blank Canvas” we meet Kaché Knowles, the founder of iisabahamianbey which is a brand and clothing line that aims to empower Bahamian culture by preserving the past, educating the present and building the future.
Knowles speaks about her upbringing in Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera, where her grammy Norma ran a shop that sold T-shirts, clothes and accessories for the tourist market and how this influenced her in finding her path to create authentic Bahamian products that represent who we truly are as a people.
“Blank Canvas” airs each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. on Guardian Talk Radio 96.9FM.
