Blank Canvas: October 6th, 2021 featuring Keisha Oliver

On this week’s “NAGB’s Blank Canvas” your host Amanda Coulson meets with Keisha Oliver, the Head of Visual Arts and Design Department at the University of The Bahamas. This fall, Oliver begins a research fellowship at The Clark Art Institute in Massachusetts, where she will be continuing her research “Lost Voices in Bahamian Visual Culture”. This is an archival project which documents marginalised arts histories beginning with the 1950s. Oliver joins us to talk about this project and its implications for Bahamian art history.

“Blank Canvas” airs each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. on Guardian Talk Radio 96.9FM.
