Our open-air auditorium, overlooking historic Nassau and the harbour, sets the stage for storytelling in all forms—art, music, performances, weddings, and more
Fiona’s Theatre at NAGB is The Bahamas’s first outdoor amphitheatre. The 200-seat venue honours Fiona Albek, a professional pianist who performed alongside her twin sister Ambra and championed classical music education for Bahamian children. Following Fiona’s passing, her family established the theatre to preserve her commitment to sharing music and art with the community. Ambra inaugurated the space with a performance on 16 April 2018.
Ambra and Fiona, twin sisters with a deep love for music and art, shared a strong bond. Ambra mastered the violin and viola, while Fiona excelled at the piano. Together, they performed professionally and inspired local children with classical music.
After Fiona’s passing, her family honoured her memory by establishing Fiona’s Theatre, the first outdoor amphitheatre in The Bahamas, with tiered seating for 200. The space continues her legacy of sharing music and art, and it was inaugurated with a performance by Ambra on 16 April 2018.
