The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas (NAGB) announces the departure of Dr. Ian Bethell-Bennett, who served as interim executive director for a year. We are grateful for Dr. Bethell-Bennett’s outstanding contributions to the organization. His wise and charismatic leadership has been of immense value to the NAGB. We wish him the best in his future endeavors.
Following this change, the NAGB board has appointed Marysa Malone, head of accounts, to step in as acting executive director with immediate effect. Ms Malone has extensive experience and dedication to the organization, and we are confident she will provide the necessary continuity in the days ahead.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Bethell-Bennett for his devoted service, and we look forward to collaborating with Ms. Malone as the NAGB pursues its mission.
