We are ALIV on this week’s Blank Canvas, meeting with the newest player in mobile telecommunications and communication in The Bahamas. Gravette Brown, the Chief Aliv Business Development Officer is in the studio along with several guests.
In the first segment, we hear from Dr. Edward Bethel, Director of Online Education at the University of The Bahamas (UB) who discusses Aliv’s pivotal role in facilitating their online learning accessibility. This is further supported by Dr. Carlton Watson, Dean of Pure and Applied Sciences at UB, who speaks to how access to cutting edge tools is changing how the institution delivers education, through new technologies like Virtual Reality.
Also, joining us from Aliv are Sherridan Thompson, Production and Content Manager, and Theo McClain, Lead Artist in charge of Production and Content, who discuss publicity campaigns, the mural walk, and how art and creativity are continually used as anchors.
