Young artists dive into creative techniques, culture, and hands-on experimentation—ending with their own exhibition.
NAGB’s Summer Camp is a vibrant access point for young artists aged 5 to 17 to connect with Bahamian art and history—areas often overlooked in standardised curricula. Through hands-on, experiential learning, campers are introduced to foundational art skills and exposed to potential career pathways in the visual arts, expanding their future educational and professional opportunities.
Each year, we welcome a diverse group of budding artists to learn, explore, and grow with us. Campers develop their artistic voices through a range of techniques and strengthen critical thinking and social-emotional skills through collaborative projects like our group mural. Camp is offered in two, two-week sessions beginning in early July, and concludes with a student exhibition to celebrate each camper’s creativity and achievements.
