Location
NAGB, Floor 1 · Project Space

Flux is a duo exhibition featuring Family Island artists Sann Sann Lam and Emmanuel Pratt Clarke, whose work reflects the constant state of flux inherent in island living—where endings become catalysts for new beginnings.

Drawing on philosophies from global cultures and folk religions—such as the Hindu concept of Samsara and Chinese Daoism—Flux examines transformation and the ephemeral nature of existence. Lam and Clarke explore how loss gives way to renewal, inviting viewers to consider the cycles of change, where natural disasters and loss coexist with joy, growth, and the beauty of the present moment.

Flux is organised by Zearier Munroe-Wilkinson, Community Outreach Officer, with curatorial support from Richardo Barrett, Curatorial Manager, and Letitia Pratt, Associate Curator.

This exhibition is presented in partnership with Exuma Arts Network.

In context

From emerging artists debuting new work to established artists exploring ideas outside their usual practice, the Project Space is dedicated to smaller-scale projects that support experimentation, the development of new bodies of work, and more focused explorations. It offers a platform for creative growth while reflecting the ongoing diversity of contemporary Bahamian art.
