Celebrating the opening of our next show at NAGB, “Refuge,” we invited four Bahamian artists to share their journey through Hurricane Dorian and the reflections that inspired their artwork.
The artists, of different ages and stages in their careers, are all living in different places—Marsh Harbour, Nassau and Paris—all had a different perspective and experience of this world-changing event for The Bahamas and share their thoughts and the inspiration for their work.
From left to right: Ritchie Eyma, Roshanne Minnis Eyma, your host Amanda Coulson, Yutavia George, and Matthew Rahming.
“Refuge” opens tomorrow night at the NAGB and is scheduled to take place from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. This event is FREE and OPEN to the public.
Blank canvas airs every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. on Guardian Talk Radio.
