What to Expect
Join NELEVEN artist Kenechi for Lessons from Neoclassicism, The Romantics, and Ourselves, a portfolio-building workshop for high school students applying to art schools in fashion, film, visual arts, and design. Through a presentation, guided exercises, and portfolio critiques, students will explore how Neoclassicism and Romanticism influence Kenechi’s practice and how these movements can inform their own work. At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
- Understand how classical movements shape contemporary art
- Strengthen technical and conceptual depth
- Apply classical techniques to your style
- Identify what top art programmes look for
- Build a portfolio with narrative and emotional depth
What’s Included
- Access to the galleries to see NELEVEN: Into the Void
- All materials and supplies provided
- Free Wi-Fi for workshop participants
What to Bring
Three printed images of yourself—in motion, in a moment, or a combination of both—to use as reference for your work. If you’re unable to print your images, please contact us ↗ in advance so we can assist with printing.
