On tonight’s Blank Canvas, guest host Katrina Cartwright, NAGB education and outreach manager, is joined by TERN Gallery’s Jodi Minnis as they discuss the upcoming exhibition “In this house is a home….”, featuring works by artist Heino Schmid.
Minnis shares thoughts and insights on Schmid’s practice, particularly the body of work he created for this exhibition, and gives a “sneak peak” into TERN’s upcoming participation in Expo Chicago where Schmid will represent the gallery alongside Jamaican artist Leasho Johnson. “In this house is a home…” will be on view at TERN Thursday, January 26th to Saturday, March 11th, 2023.
